Left out o dark thirty, day after Christmas 🎄 final destination, Denver, Colorado. We figure 2.5 days open roading it we’ll get there. Hauling a Santa sleigh of lamps, end tables, snowboard, various and sundry mom deemed necessities from home to our Andrew who has just settled into his new job in Denver. First rest stop was 18 degrees outside 🥶, but we enjoyed a spectacular winter wonderland through WVA. Crossed both the Ohio and Missouri rivers, visited the home of the Louisville slugger, had an art experience of a masked David (whoa) and enjoyed a yummy evening at a 21c Museum Hotel. Day 2 is our long haul across the middle as we are currently cruising through KC MO. Goal is to pit stop tonight in Hays, Kansas where pit cooked pulled pork is a regional (and Johnny Legg) fav.
