Shredding it ⛷

Powder perfect, sunshine ☀️ and 36 degrees! God made this a Sunday super funday for Beaver Creek Colorado skiing. Got a lot of runs in, then a tasty soup and sandwich back at the condo for lunch. Wrapped the afternoon as the very last peeps on the chairlift to the top. Not without incident though, John boy flipped his lid and skis coming in a little too hot 🥵 Luckily, just a small cut on his wrist and a tight calf muscle. But Jean Claude still has it!

All along our travels, we continue to find delish food and drink. Only hope the ambitious skiing can cut into the cals! Haha. Thermometer gonna dip back down to single digits again tonight, good evening to order in and wine 🍷 down by the fire.

Ta Ta for now! Cheers 🥂 from Rocky Top!

Western life lives on…

I’ve said goodbye to Tucson and hello to Denver.

Then goodbye 👋 to Denver. We headed out and abruptly due to a major rockslide on I 70 West, we were rerouted north though Steamboat Springs, got to see a WHOLE lot of Colorado we haven’t seen before. Bought a lottery ticket in some no name town we stopped for petrol refuel. Lo and behold, I won $200 on a scratch off!

7 hours later Hello 👋 to Snowmass.

We had an amazingly productive day on the slopes ⛷ considering we haven’t had a pair of skis on since 07! 😱 No spills or injury, held our own. Yoga 🧘‍♀️ works people!!! Rode the first gondola 🚠 up with pro golfer Justin Leonard and his kids. He even pointed out some easier runs for the reinventing snow bunnies/busters.

John in repose at the St Regis.

Took the shuttle over to Aspen for drinks and dinner among the locals. After drinks at St Regis and Hotel Jerome, we hope to catch a hotdog 🌭 cart for din din.

Ended up at Aspen’s version of Mi Casita…Mi Chola…hilarious some of the St Regis crowd is dining here as well! When in Rome…

Cheers 🥂! N&J

Ranch life in the desert 🌵

An 1880’s cattle ranch to spiritual retreat…

I love the combination of old wagon wheel, rustic wooden sign with solar panel lighting source on top. Preservation meets innovation meets transformation.

A good mantra for supporting a well nourished spirit.

Our retreat is a step back from current life pace, offering a rugged and picturesque expanse to breathe, stretch, and soul search. Many of you inquire about my annual trek west for yoga. What do you do for 5 days? On a remote ranch in Oracle, AZ?

For starters…unwind.

It’s less about yoga and more about the breath and quiet. But also laughter and creativity, reunion with old friends and making new ones. Experiencing this peaceful setting of the American Southwest against the backdrop of the Catalina Mountain range. There is sunrise yoga and expansive afternoon yoga, morning workshop activities and evening art projects. In between, free time to hike around the ranch, journal, read, nap 😴.

A stand of Saguaro soldiers…

Southern girl happy 😃 ….cheese grits 😋

Quiet 🤫 time is observed from 9:30 at night until 10:30 am workshop. Wonderful for self reflection and spending time alone, you doing you. How often do we ever spend time silent and still, giving God a chance to speak in divine whispers to the heart and soul?

A new day is on the rise….

I’m listening with intention…..

Namaste 🙏❤️ peeps!
