The author of the book based on my favorite  movie speaks the truth of  it. Isak Dinesen aka Baroness Von Blixen from Out of Africa. Salt water is a cure all. This long weekend before the mighty Atlantic has definitely slowed our life pace for a few days. Dos Leggos has journeyed down memory lane driving past the old Nags Head cottages, out to Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, and down Hwy 12 to Hatteras. Walking the beaches of Rodanthe has conspired with the likes of a Nichalos Sparks novel from our encounter with a grey seal pup rescue to watching kite surf action and valor across the choppy sound waves and taking in the spectacular setting suns dipping down into the Pamlico horizon  🌅 . Nice to remember the magic of the Outer Banks!
